Left Coast Lasercraft didn’t start with a big business plan, extra-large lasers, and a shop full of power tools. It started in a small corner of my garage here in Oregon’s Willamette Valley...with a tabletop laser and a stack of cutting boards I engraved one by one, simply to provide personalized gifts.

I’ve always been a DIY'er (still am). I grew up around power tools, home-built projects, and the belief that if you wanted something you couldn’t afford...you figured out how to make it yourself (thanks, Pops). Creating things with my hands has always felt natural. So when COVID lockdowns hit and the world slowed down, I leaned into that instinct. A creative outlet, a little curiosity, and if I’m honest…the idea of a few tax write-offs, sparked what would become Left Coast Lasercraft.

By 2021, I was selling engraved cutting boards and small gifts under the name Left Coast Arts. What started as a personalized gift shop slowly grew into something much more. I realized I didn’t just love personalizing things—I loved making a beautiful something from nothing and creating one-of-a-kind pieces that actually meant something.

As the business grew and my focus evolved, it was time for a name change. Left Coast Lasercraft was born, reflecting a clearer vision and a deeper commitment to intentional design and custom signage.

Today, I still call the Willamette Valley home and love working with local businesses and families throughout our community - helping bring their ideas, stories, and spaces to life. But I also ship custom pieces nationwide, allowing Left Coast Lasercraft creations to find homes and businesses far beyond the left (best) coast.
